A sanitary air filter helps keep your aeration setup clean by filtering incoming air before it hits your wort or must. It is a simple add-on that can reduce the chance of pulling dust, spores, or other microbes through your pump and into your fermenter.

Use it inline on the air intake side of an aeration pump, or anywhere you are feeding air through tubing into a diffusion stone or aeration wand. Replace the filter regularly, and any time it gets wet or shows visible buildup.
