Choosing the right brew pot or kettle that suits your brewing needs is crucial.  Are you brewing extract or partial grain kits?  A 5 gallon stainless steel pot is all you need.  If you're looking to brew an all grain batch of beer you will need a kettle that can hold at least 8 gallons of water.  If you're looking to brew in a bag (BIAB) then a 16 gallon or larger kettle is what would work best.
