Quantum Series Citra® Hop Extract, 1 mL Syringe

Add a concentrated burst of Citra® aroma to your next homebrew with this pre-measured 1 mL syringe of Quantum Series hop extract. The profile combines bold citrus and tropical fruit with a light woody and spicy background, making it a natural fit for hazy IPAs, West Coast IPAs, pale ales, session IPAs and hop water.

Suggested dosage

• Use 1 mL in 19 L for a light Citra aroma boost
• Start around 1.25 to 2 mL for a clearly noticeable citrus and tropical profile
• Use 2 to 4.8 mL for heavily hopped pale ales and IPAs, adjusting to taste
• One 1 mL syringe has roughly the aroma potential of 30 g of T90 hops

Best practices

Add Quantum Citra on the cold side during dry hopping, after fermentation or directly to a purged keg. It does not replace the bittering hops in your recipe and will not contribute meaningful IBUs. Limit oxygen exposure, mix gently and give the beer three to five days before judging the final aroma. For a rounded IPA profile, use it to replace part of your Citra pellet dry hop rather than removing the pellets completely.
