Barrel Mill Infusion Oak Spirals are used to add oak character to beer, wine, cider, mead, and spirits without needing a full barrel. This pack includes 2 medium plus oak spirals, which sit between medium toast and heavy toast.

Medium plus gets its name because it is toasted further than medium, but not as deeply as heavy toast. That gives it a stronger oak presence than medium toast, while still keeping a more balanced profile than heavy toast.

Medium plus oak can bring classic oak flavour with varying hints of vanilla, caramel, spice, toasted wood, and light roasted notes. It works well when you want noticeable oak character in red wines, bigger beers, ciders, meads, or spirits without going too dark or smoky. Add to your fermenter, carboy, keg, or ageing vessel and taste along the way.
